WE BUILT THIS TOGETHER.
Three months ago, we found out we had to leave our previous home.
Three months to find a new space.
Three months to figure out how to make it work.
And once we finally got access to our new space, we had just three weeks to transform it into a functioning circus studio.
So we did what Circus Foundry has always done:
We came together.
In just three weeks, our community transformed an empty space into our new home — and somehow, we did it without missing a single class for our members.
This wasn't the work of one person or even a small team. It took an entire community.
Carpenters. Electricians. Artists. Coaches. Designers. Builders. Cleaners. Movers. Problem-solvers. Facebook Marketplace experts. People who knew exactly how to build something — and people who simply showed up ready to help.
We built floors.
We built walls.
We installed lights.
We drilled concrete.
We moved an entire gym.
We painted.
We assembled furniture.
We wired equipment.
We built a dance floor and a tramp wall.
We set up Wi-Fi, sound, and lighting.
And we cleaned. A LOT.
Most importantly, we built a home.
And now it's time to celebrate.
THREE WEEKS. ONE COMMUNITY. ONE NEW HOME.
This studio represents something bigger than a new address.
When we were given only three months to leave our previous location, we had no idea how we were going to pull this off.
Then, once we found our new space, we had only three weeks to make it ready.
There was no way we could have done it alone.
Our community stepped up in an incredible way.
A Special Thank You
Julian Frazier — our new partner and the driving force behind our expanding fitness program. Julian has helped us take the fitness side of Circus Foundry to the next level and provided the incredible fitness equipment that fills our new weight rooms. We're incredibly excited to welcome Julian into the Circus Foundry family and see where we're going together.
Alex Spangler — our Community Director and one of the people who kept this entire project moving. Alex was instrumental in coordinating the community, finding solutions, tracking down furniture, and helping turn an overwhelming project into something we could actually accomplish. Her partner Aaron for doing all the electrical work!
Ryan Salerno — our Head Acrobatics Coach, who somehow found time to help build the physical studio while also handling our website, Wi-Fi, music, lighting, and a mountain of technical details behind the scenes.
Veronica Penny — for bringing her incredible eye for physical and digital design to the project and helping us turn the space into something that actually feels like Circus Foundry.
Josh Carlino & Jonas Whalen — for putting their incredible carpentry skills to work and building our tramp wall and dance floor from the ground up.
And then there were the countless community members who showed up, picked up a tool, moved something heavy, painted a wall, cleaned a floor, assembled furniture, hauled equipment, or simply asked:
"What needs to be done?"
A huge thank you to:
Bryan, Jamie, Jeremy, Alexa, Charles, Beau, Michael, Esme, Ekko, Mikey, Will, Adrienne, Kelsey, Melissa, Andy, Patty, Craig, Shawn, Colbin, Patra, Amber, Branden, Staza, Jenica, Bryant, Nikia, Four, Kyle, Venessa, Cody — and so many more.
We couldn't possibly name everyone who helped.
This place belongs to all of you.
WANT TO HELP US KEEP BUILDING?
Since sharing the news about our new home, so many people have asked, “How can we help?”
The truth is, this studio is only the beginning.
We have big dreams for what Circus Foundry can become, and we want to continue building a facility that gives our community the space, equipment, programs, and opportunities to learn, create, train, perform, and chase their dreams.
If you'd like to continue supporting us, we've created a GoFundMe where you can contribute directly to the future of Circus Foundry.
Every dollar raised will go back into building and improving our dream facility for our community — from equipment and training spaces to continued renovations, programs, and the things that will allow us to keep growing.
Whether you can contribute $5, $50, or simply share our fundraiser with someone who believes in what we're building, every bit of support makes a difference.
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has already shown up for us — with your time, skills, resources, donations, or simply by believing in this dream.
We promise to keep giving our all to this community.
This space was built by the community, and we're going to keep building it together.
